    10 Award Ribbon Bar

Hello all I have recently picked up this ribbon bar.
Can anyone confirm this is a good piece or explain to me why it is not.

I have done some research and think I have identified the awards as follows but I'm finding the German-English translation tricky. Please help with any opinions.
    (l to r)
    1) Iron Cross 1914
    2) War Merit medal
    3) Prussian Military honour with white and black band ?
    4) Scwarzburg Sonderhausen service honour ?
    5) ??
    6) Austrian Honour cross for World War participants?
    7) Hungarian Fire cross with swords
    8) Austrian Tiroler landesdenkmunze ?
    9) Austrian Maria Theresa order ?
    10) Air protection decoration ?

    Thanks for any help.

The negatives on this bar outweigh the positives

            This is what I see

            1)1914 EK2
            2)War Merit Cross, 2nd Cl
            3)Bavaria - Military Service Cross
            4)Finland - Liberation Cross, 1st Cl
            5)Finland - Service Medal
6)1914-18 Cross of Honor - aka Hindenburg Cross (HK)
            7)Hungary - War Service Cross
            8)Austria - Tirol Service
            9)Hamburg Hanseatic Cross
            10)Luftschutz Medal, 2nd Class

All are possible on a bar . . . but I think in this case unlikely

The ribbons are seriously out of order. The 2 Finns would be after
the HK with the Nungary and Austria

Personally I would pass on this

I was headed towards the same conclusion. The Hansa cross and Bavarian would be right after the Hindy and all the foriegn stuff after that. Lack of Long Service awards is also strange. Plus all the sword devices is never a good sign. Most likely a parts bar from original parts but better pics are needed to be sure.

                I hesitated to mention that

Plus . . . the Finn awards I have had on ribbon bars were without swords

My guess would be a parts bar at best . . . at worst

To add some corrections about the Finnish awards:

                  4)Finland - Liberation Cross, 1st Cl
                  5)Finland - Service Medal

Number 4 is the Medal of Liberty First Class (not a cross, but it is a part of the Order of the Cross of Liberty) The medal can NEVER have swords and the Crosses of Liberty can have swords, BUT the device does not look like that, so this is bogus.

Number 5 is The Commemorative Medal of The War of Independence 1918, it can NEVER have any swords. On the ribbons bar it doesn´t have any devices, but on the medals and minis it can have a rose and bars with text.
                  So this is also bogus.

This leads me to believe that this whole ribbonbar is a post war bogus construction.

                    Thanks for all your comments.
They have all been very Interesting. I'm a little disappointed but not hugely surprised.
Oh well, it looks like I'm back in the market for a long ribbon bar again.

                    Cheers.

                      Hello Guys,

Ribbon #9 is actually for the Fire Brigade Decoration Second Class. (Notice the burgandy stripes to the edges of the ribbon.) Would make sense with the Luftschutz Decoration. However, I can only agree that the two Finnish awards are what does this one in. The foreign decorations should be placed last on the bar.

                      Best regards,
                      Tom
