Oh my goodness. I bought this medal and picked the case from two that were on hand. Is the 1 Oct. case a brigher red? Maybe I picked the wrong case then. Thanks.

Hey Robert !

The case is good, You only have to buy also the other medal...

The needed case for "01. Oktober 1938" is dark red or red-brown... its always difficult to describe a colour right...

These two cases are BOTH for the "13. März 1938"- medal. The one for the "1. Oktober 1938" is much more darker. Sorry, but I don't own a scanner and can't send You pictures but there are a lot of them shown in several threads.

Since no reply to the color of the case , am attaching photos of my cases, the dark (maroon) case is for the 1st Oct and the red is the 13 March.

You're exactly right, Peter, buy a 13 Marz medal for the case I have now, and then a maroon case for this 1 Oct. A little shuffling, but I see them everywhere for sale. Thank you for your help.
