Help me out on this one. Is it authentic? Ribbon passes U/V and burn test so I know that it is probably real. I will leave it up to those that view to determine if the medal is authentic or not. My camera does not take the greatest pictures so I hope that what I have is good enough. Thanks so much to all in advance..........

One last front. I know that this does not have the defined makers mark on the front, but it appears that this has been worn down. Unfortunantly my camera is not good enough to show the maker in any finer detail!Attached FilesBrian Dentino

I am on the learning curve on these my self but from what I gather they were made by different manufaturers and that they would stamp them till the dies became pretty worn. Made in both Tombak and zink. From the first pic it looks like a zinker, but the closeups have a golden hue.
Like above, better pics of the maker mark would help.

As good as it gets.....
Okay folks, this is as good as it gets. I am almost 100% certain that this is bronze. Sorry for the lousy pics again, but maybe these will help you out some in being able to tell if this is good or not???? Thanks to all.....Attached FilesBrian Dentino

Im still torn on this one, the mold could have been really worn down on this strike or its a repro. I do like the hint of bronze that is left to the badge and the lettering looks ok. I am leaning to a worn mold but lets see what a couple of others have to say. My dak medal by this maker is packed away at home so i can't get images of it to reference. Matt
