Loyal Work Pin

Hi gang,




I´m still a bit puzzled concerning this piece. It is a pin for employees for loyal work in Wehrmacht/Waffen SS or Kriegsmarine. The golden pin would be for 25 years loyal work.

So now my question: Could this be the golden award for 25 years, or is it "just" the silver one for employees? What is your opinion, are there traces of gold visible?

This looks like a zinc badge to me, so telling if there is gold on this one would probably be best done in natural light under a magnifing glass or loop.

That being said, judging by the back I'd say no, yet the front looks like it could be possible, although it could also be a goldish tint due to zinc pest.

It's really just to hard to tell in a photograph.
