Westwall medal real or fake?

Hello everybody,
I bought this medal yesterday.
The old owner of this medal told me that it is original
but if you place the ribbon under uv-light it glows.
Normally you can’t see that and now I want to know if it is real or not.
Can you please give me your opinion about the ribbon and the medal.

The medal looks like a good zinker. The ribbon is probably a replacement.

Hello there are many TR items that glow .That are still original items.This may or may not be one of them.The only things I use a black light for are armbands,banners ,and flags.But they have even found a way around that now.Best regards.

It appears that there are alot of West Wall medals with "glowing" ribbons, I'm not totally convinced that all these are replacement ribbons.

I have seen many Westwall ribbons that glow (own one myself).

I would say that you have an original medal with a replacement ribbon (which seems to be fairly common).
