These are rare, and I think the reason for that is that since they were mostly awarded to civilians there was no demand to have them court-mounted for display wear.
Here's one I got a few years ago at a show. The seller had it priced for just a bit more than the unmounted medal should have cost.

Dear Scott,
Although the medal itself is relatively common as are its 2nd class counterparts, to find a parade mounted War Merit Medal or one of the 2nd classes in parade mount is rather difficult.
I have attached a scan of my single.
