    First Ost Medal

Finally got one of these. Not MM but the silver is good and no serious zink bubles. Sorry for the poor quality fotos, as I am having problems with my camera and scanned these. I really like these.

      Yep that is a keeper.

Hopefully this will be the first of many you own. These little guys can be as addictive as KCs but fortunately not as addictive as GABs or PABs

Nice one Johnnie. Better condition than mine and only a little bubbling.

Yes indeed. There is just something about them. What they were issued for. The design, silver tone on helm and rim, Wehrmacht Adler, ribbon colors. They just scream Wehrmacht to me!

Thanks mate. Lots of these around, but finding one where the silver hasn't dissapeared is getting a bit harder.

            Cheers,

              Johnnie,
Just one? Oh well, I'am sure there will be many more to come. The little guys are quite addictive and still reasonably priced. They are alot of fun to collect as there are so many numbers available. We still have no idea how many makers there were and that is the thrill of the hunt. IMO, the best designed TR award.

I agree Chet. To me, these are one of the classiest of TR awards, and like you say, still reasonably priced.

                Cheers,
                Johnnie
