medal case question

I realize its not German...
but the Romanian "order of Michael the Brave" was awarded for bravery
to many Germans, so I thought I would post it here...
as German collectors might come across it...
Is the case real? (sorry no medal...)
What is it worth?

Here it is opened.
I heard that this is like the Romanian version of the German Knights cross
(or US Congressional Medal of honor and British VC)
is that true? I think it says 3rd class though...
