    Numbered West Wall Medals

Since I never collected these little guys I never paid attention as to whether they were marked or not. So today on e-stand I see one that is marked. It got me to thinking, how many different numbers are there? Anyone?

I never heard of them being marked, but maybe I never paid attention. I saw it too, marked 100. Maybe it's like the Eastern People's award, where the only know maker mark is 100.

      Hello Chet,

I have never seen one maker marked before.

      Best regards,

I never thought I'd see the day when a Westwall medal would be classified as "rare."

I never seen a mm'd one, but then again I only own one.

KVK's and Westwalls appear to actually be obtaining some value these days, I'd better stock up while I can haha.

I have five westwall medals and not one maker mark on any of them.

I always stow observing for markings in Westwall and I never found. This medal with 100 was the first one.

                Regards,

                Schmidt

I spent some time reading up on Westwalls after I found an excellent early bronze one at a Floh Markt for 10 Euro. I have also never seen or heard of one maker marked, but I'm still new to the medal game.
                  Ahh, the learning curve.

I've never seen a marked Westwall Medal either ... I guess in the universe of Westwall Medals, it would be rare!

I wish the images were still up; did it have the distinctive Wachtler & Lange numbering with the stubby 1 and really round 0s?

                    Best,
                    Greg

I think (that is believe, am not 100% sure) it was 50 euro. I don't know if it was packeted w/ribbon or not...

I thought it was around $75 or $80, either way pretty close to 50euros.
Has anyone asked the seller if he could post pics of it again?

I believe it did. I had a look at it and remember thinking that the mm looked pretty good to me.

Guys I think it is nearly impossible to identify does the ring original to the medal or not, the ring could be replaced from zink kvk cross....
