    West Wall Medal

    Could someone tell me if the first issue of the West Wall Medal, was made of Tombak, or of something else?

    yes a bronze brass as far as i know

      Ya the zink was a later reissue in 1944, it was done with the cheaper medal. The first issue was alot nicer.

        The originals were bronze. The second issue, when the Siegried Line was being rebuilt, was in zinc.
