You see these monster bars filled with nothing awards originating out of Austria on ebay.de all the time. So let's see what he is purporting here: an Austrian enlisted man from late WW1, nazi supporter, joins the Luftwaffe after the Anschluss, serves immediately in Spain, misses out on the other flower wars but serves on the West Wall/ invasion of France and the Low Countries/ perhaps Norway. Finally ends up in Russia via Romainia. Has somewhere between 12 and 17 years service before 1940 when the LS medals are suspended. Manages to earn the EK2 and WMC 2d class with swords, the last one a mid to late war zinker. What sort of job would he have had in the Luftwaffe to do all this? Ground crewman? Aircrewman? Desk jocky?
