    Can you help identify a German decoration

    Hello All! I recently came across a German Decoration.....it has some kind of insignia on the front......it has 3 colored bands...from left to right they are light blue, gold, and red.
    On the reverse side, the inscription reads ( as close as I can tell )
    Hans Rubow ( an unknown inscription)
    s l ibf
    Erich Weber ( an unknown inscription )
    z frdl Erg Bonn SS26
    I must have gotten this from my Uncle Joe who was a Combat Engineer. I know he was at Normandy, but unsure of combat afterwards.

    Can anyone help me identify this medal?

      Hi chemboy11,

      there is nothing to combine with Wehrmacht or SS.

      It is a Weinzipfel or Bierzipfel, a personal gift between students, please see here:

      SS26 is Sommer-Semester 1926 (summer term 1926).
