    Ostfront medal in good shape

Hello, just received this nice looking ostfront medal, can't see a makers mark.
Any idea about the maker, any opinions about this medal at all?

It got a fairly long ribbon, around 15-20 cm

From what I can tell, it looks good to me. I am now studying these before purchasing one, so am on the learning curve myself. It looks as if the silver on edge and helm has survived well.
          Hope others respond with input.

          Cheers,
          Johnnie

Yeah the silver finish is well preserved, as well as the 'grey' area...

Yes, looks nice... No Mark or number on the ring? I did read that only 18 - 24% of these were actually marked! I have 2 unmarked models

Couldn't find a mark on the ring... I really know nothing about these frozen meat medals

Is the mark smaller than the average ek2 mark? the ring seems to be smaller so maybe the mark is smaller as well

Dont think the size will stop you seeing it.... I would thinks its likely not to be there. I havent seen a marked one but friends of mine believe theres are. Im off to a show in Whiston / Liverpool UK Sunday, so will have a look!

Mine is marked 51, haven't actually got a shot of the mark though.
I usually try & go to the Whiston fair, not sure i'll have enough cash this weekend after overspending as usual.
