Not sure if it's a repro or not, but I beleive the 1914-18 Honor Cross should be before the 2 Long Service awards.
      Regards,
      Chris

Always interested in buying Ribbon Bars or anything Ribbon Bar related!!

The 6 ribbon bar WAS fine, but somebody, God alone knows why, has monkeyed with it:

the last 4 ribbons are out of order: after the 1914 EK2 and WW2 KVK2X should be the WW1 Hindenburg Cross X, the Austrian WW1 Commemorative Medal X (post Anschluss wartime precedence) and then the two Wehrmacht long service awards. Can't be sure of what colors the eagles actually are, but either both gold = 25, both silver = 18, or gold 12 and silver 4.

The problem with these tab-backs is that with exquisite care they can often be removed and replaced just ONCE-- removing them a second time is more than the brittle tabs can bear, and they will almost invariably snap off if bent back down a second time, from age and corrosion.

The OBVIOUS question is WHY would anyone mess with an original bar anyway? But that happens all too often with itchy fingers that just cannot leave things alone and unruined.

          Hi Rick,
Thanks for the info,is there no way that they could have been this way all the time,if not do you think i should alter them back, the 2x eagles are silver.
          All the best Merdock

Too risky. That WAS a very nice, scarce half height style, WW2 Oberst level officer's bar.

Too bad idiots cannot keep their fidgety hands off ruining things!!!
