This is the original snipers badge that was posted on the other thread. This was posted by markus and I will remove it if you mind.

You can see that there is absolutly no comparison between your patch and this one.

Yes -but the photo is of a First (Erste stuffe ) -mine is the Third class .

Snipers patch

This is a third class! Second class had a silver border and the fist a gold border. The borders are twisted piping in different colors. All badges had a border, it is a integral part of the patch. The silver and gold borders are added on. Please look closely at the other thread. There is a pair of snipers badges posted-1 silver and the other gold bordered.
