Ron, this is a very impressive group!
It's indeed an amazing piece with its box! The doc is a stunning piece too, not often we can see in collections a Goblet and an Ehrenliste!

Honor Goblet

I have been perusing the streams on the LW Honor Goblets just out of curiosity. This is one of the finest Alpakas I have seen so far. I have one to a Bordschutze that has the same high quality finish. Untlike the .835 ones, you do not polish these, as you will take off the nice original finish. Many Alpakas have a dull finish due to wear over time or polishing. Mine came off a Canadian vet in the 1960s and still has the original bright finish. All I have done over the years is wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
