The aim of this thread is to look at Third Reich only medal groups and ribbon bars along with photographs and soldbuch entries which show unusual conbinations. I and others have seen a number of groups starting to become available which could cause concern, it will also give us a chance to look at construction and a chance to discuss rarity, thanks, Paul

Hello Paul,
It has always been my understanding that original Eastern Peoples Decorations should have the circular, rope-like detail around the outside of the center medallion and also immediately around the center blossom. On the reverse, the medals should have a circular depression. In my opinion, without these details, they are '57 versions at best.
