    Ken,

    You are correct; that type of L/14 WB with the coke bottle pin is a fake. Some say they are made/marketed by Floch. You also see them in silver.

        And Another interesting fact is that they Never made any Wound Badges (except the July 20 one?) with the coke bottle pin . This has helped me a little bit, and is a easy way to spot fakes

          These gold wound badges have been around for years. The coke bottle pins and associated scorch marks to the hinge and hook are dead giveaways
