Is this Eastern front fake?? Opinions please!

Hi, This one is for sale and the price seems pretty good. The seller says the jump ring is marked '10'. Here's a pic of the front. Are they supposed to be this glossy?? I have a pic of the back too, but it's so low quality I don't know if it will help.

    Any opinions appreciated!

    Josh,

    It looks good to me

I have a couple of glossy/shiny ones, I think the gloss on this is enhanced by the lighting used when the pic was taken - nothing to worry about.

      The back....
What should I look for if it is a fake?? Do some fakes have marked jump rings too? I have an original one of these that a family member brought back from the war but it's in a different state and I haven't seen it in some time. Thanks again for the opinions- please keep them coming!

        Josh,

The fake OSTs that I have seen, generally have a poorly defined look about them and are easily bent with light pressure. As yet I have not seen any that had a numbered ring.

The pic of the reverse of this one is not very helpfull as the focus is poor, but I still think it is a good one and would be happy with it in my collection.

OSTs range in condition vastly, I have several that are "tarnished", one that I assume was field worn (due to the state of it), others that are close to mint.
