Hi forum friends! Some months ago I purchased this Ostvolk medal from a forum member. As I'm not an expert in this kind of decorations, I noticed that the medal was different compared to the biggest part of this type of medals that are being sold here in the forum. This has a plain back while the biggest part of those which are sold here have a hollow back or a kind of hole. When I posted a thread with my collection, a nice forum member came across the photos I had posted and told me that it was a difficult to find medal, because it has a 100 maker marked ring and the plain back, and he had never seen one like this before. He also told me that sometimes it's easy to buy an ostvolk as pre 45, having actually bought a 57 version, but he told me something about an upper detail that could be enough to differenciate them. So, what's your opinion on it? I'd like to know if it's a rarity. I have also found some old posts about ostvolk decorations, but I haven't got any interesting info regarding my medal.
Thanks for all.
Thanks for all.
