Hi
From my experience, without wishing to sound a deathknell to your thread, I think you would be better posting images to have success in getting experienced collectors to help out.
In the scheme of things, the membership of $25 will pay for itself if one of the medals is bad and it saves you $500-$600.
This is aimed at being constructive, as you may be waiting a while for people to contact you.
Good luck and when the images go up, I will be pleased to lend you a hand

Hi
You will not regret it.
I do not wish to turn this into a thread about being a member as it is not the place to do it, but for the price of two portions of fish and chips per year, you will get the money back in a few days, if not a few hours, as well as supporting the upkeep of this gem of a resource.
How much would one reference book cost on one particular area of collecting? - £25? £35? £45?. They are not cheap, that's for sure
This is a real time resource, with plenty of examples and decent colour images that costs £12.50 if you want to take an active role. There is also a humorous forum where you can laugh at Dion's jokes.
Enough said and I will step away from my lecturn and await your images with interest.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing some images JSC71 and see if some of the years of experience can help you.
Best wishes
Raymond

Thanks Lads
Thanks guys for your kind advice.Im new to this forum but now realise that this is probably the best resorce for experianced and not so experianced collectors to advise each other on collecting what is one of the most difficult catagorys of militaria that being German WWII. Im experianced myself but sometimes everyone gets a piece were they cant be 100% sure of it originality.
