Dear Tony,
From what I can see it appears to be a case for a screwback EK1 with spange. From your picture , the case appear longer than it is wide. One other thing that I can not see is if there is an indentation in the upper portion of the case (near the hinge) slotted to accept a vertical hook from the spange. If it is the afrementioned it is quite a nice/rare case.
