Neat to see this sort of 'untouched' (as in never added to) vet brignback. What is interesting is the large number of some medals and the absence of others.

No RK in this lot so one could hazard a guess at the time he assembled this lot it must of been hard to get a-hold of one.

One could see why the RK was still produced after the war there must of been a big demand for them while the KVKs and KVM were as common as hen's teeth.

Are we going to see any close-ups?

Does the KRETA have an RB number? If so can you be kind enough to post a picture.

                    Best Regards,

                    John

Can you post close-ups of the Cholms, Demjansks, Tank Strip and Anti-Partisan for reference purposes.

This first hand stuff is the best reference material.

                      Kindest Regards and Great Lot!

                            I am green with envy.
I wonder how many good vet lots are still around to be picked.
                            Thanks for showing.

                                Very good question.

At this point we have the vets who did not want to sell their relics/souvenirs...the reason I feel they did not want to sell the items is because these items reminded the vets of their youth and of their friends from those days and the experiences they had...

...so the way things come on the market is (sadly) that the vet has already passed on some years back and the items are packed away in an attic/basement and only when the widow passes away and the children decide to clean out the house to prepare it for sale do we find these things now come onto the market.
