Ost medals - opinion?

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I have two ost medals and i'm not sure about this one.
As you can see the front looks ok. But, the ring is smaller, flattened - looks like a marker mark (?) but can't see what is it. Medal looks thicker but with the narrow silver edging. Letters are also thicker.
