EK pin on medalbar - is it ORIGINAL?

Hello guys. Me again. Please take a look at this EK pin on medal bar. Unfortunately i cant take it off as it is attached on the band. I hope that this pictures will do.
Please as many opinions as possible

I don't recognize that Spange to any known maker. The bar itsself has some issues with what is on it and what is missing. For example, a post 1939 bar but the commemorative medals from WW1 are in the wrong location and no Hindy Cross?

What's the pin attachment on the back of the spange look like?

Also, how about a photo of the back of the bar.
      Regards,
      Chris

The Occupation medal is a 'Big Nose' fake.

Here are some more photos. Medals on the bar I think they are all original,...the only problem is the EK2 pin over the EK2 1914.

As i said i cant remove it of the band so this is the best picture that i can make:

I have to say, overall I'm not to impressed wth this bar.

I might be able to get around the Austro/Hungarian awards in front of the LS/Annex awards. I've seen this done before by Austrian vets in the mid/late 1930's, before wartime regulations were well established (or they just didn't care! ). But this bar is obviously later than that being that it has 1940's wartime Romanian awards, so it just ain't right.

Even setting aside the questionable spange, the oily looking dirt/soiling really looks to me like someones attempt at artificial aging to me, (plus the backing material seems a bit funky too or is it just me? ).

All together I'd have to say that there are just to many questions/flags on this one for my tastes.

Where did the bar come from?
            Regards,
            Chris

I'm not an expert in the medalbars, but i must say that all the medals are 100% original. Many collectors told me how the medals would have to be placed on medalbar but i think that this is not neccesary to be a rule that everybody have followed. A friend told me that this is a beautiful medalbar which shows a complete soldiers millitary history: WW1 fighting, then joining wehrmacht army and ending with honnors with Romanian army for warmerit and fight against komunismus. It might also belong to a foreign soldier that fought in aliance with German army. About the back cloth,...maybe the bar was concluded by another guvelier in some other country ,... placing on the Romanian medals and changing the back of the bar.

First off, let me say that I'm not trying to bad mouth you or your bar, I'm just trying to give an opinion based on my experience.

That said, here are a few points:

                1. The bar represented here is most likely an Austrians bar, based on the awards & that the bar is presented in the south German style. I'd say 99%.

                2. Just because the awards are real does not make the bar real.

                3. Spanges aren't my area of expertise, but I've heard that general consesis is not good on this type of spange. It is suspect, if not an outright fake.

                4. If a piece is right it's right, if it's not it's not & nothing anyone, (including myself), says can change that fact.

Anything is possible & the bottom line is as long as you are satisfied with having it in your collection, that's ll that really matters.

                Enjoy!
                Regards,
                Chris

Thanks for your opinion. Any comment is welcome.
Unfortunately not me nor noboy else will 100% know what the story about this bar is like. Anything is possible. Maybe also the back pin was repaired, replaced when other medals were added,....who knows. My first question was about the EK2 badge on EK2 1914 and in the end almost doesnt matter as i got the bar for a very good price and if the EK2 badge was original it would only lift up the price for additional 200 EUR.

I'm very satesfied with the medalbar and I will surely keep it in my collection.

If somebody can advise me some more about the EK2 pin please do.

                  Thanks in advance

sorry, but this is a 100% repro prinzen spange
and if you pull it off, I bet it's marked '107'. Good details, and well made, but fake all the way I'm afraid
                    regards
