      The one on the left lacks the quality of detail that the one on the right has. I think it shows signs of casting on the side with the maker marks.

        I agree, looks like the left is a rougher cast of an original. Detail is soft and you can barely make out the makers mark. Did it come with a ribbon?

          A good example what to look for in a cast copy. Poor detail, poor small lettering, casting pits around Milano, file marks on the suspension ring.


          If I am not mistaken it is made of what looks like zink or lead. The originals were tombac or something similar not a washed silver metal

            They were also made out of zink so you will find them in a greyish color as the bronze wash absorbes.
