Unusual Badges being worn

I picked up a big lot of photos recently. Two of them show Soldiers wearing unusual badges. I was wondering if anyone knows what they are.

First one is a Schurrmeister, this looks like a WHW tinnnie of Branch Standards or?

This sort of looks like a HJ member badge but the guy looks too old for that or maybe not? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
