Hi Alex going off the look of thje metal as well as the wear I would say its an original . So of these crosses were highly detailed others poor by comparison. Have you tried to bend the metal as some of the fakes are fairly soft and you can bend them as well as press your finger nail into them. There does seem to be a lack of pebbling between the 1 and the 8 or is that just the pics? All the best

IMO it maybe an original, but not the best detailed. Try to bend it as MRG said.

I can not bend a cross, because it made of hard steel.
