I can spot a fake a MILE away....

If you have ever said this, then THIS is the challenge for YOU! A fellow inhertited a bunch of German medals (or so he says) and he is crappy at taking digital pictures. However, these photos are all I have to judge the originality of these medals. Will the experts please take a look and tell me what you think?

        Hi,

Based solely on the shocking pics, I don't see anything obviously wrong with any of them at this stage.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

It probably shows my limited knowledge in the area of medals and awards, but I don't ever remember seeing rusty pins before. This worried me, but because they are about the only visible feature in the pictures and nobody raised a red flag it makes me feel better. If I get any more (or better) pictures I'll post them.

          Thank you very much gentlemen!

          Mike

Based on the bad pics, I'd say the EKs are ok.

The EK1 appears to be a BH Mayer.

The first bronze PAB looks like a S&L

looks like he shot the pics with a bad camera phone, if they are the real deal, he's done them a great injustice!

I cant judge from the pictures, but sellers with bad pictures always give me a bad feeling

the back pin and hinge of the badges look good, crosses look good, in fact everything looks good despite the terrible pictures!

                        I would take the gamble

                          Hello all,

I would have also gone on these images.

The PAB looks good as does the EK_1 and if the price was right......
