1936 Olympic Medallion - Please Help

Hi Everybody,

(Hope I'm not in the wrong forum but) I've been offered an Olympic participants' bronze medallion as designed by Otto Placzek.

Only thing is, I'm expected to make an offer but I have no idea what the medallion is worth. Can anyone give me any idea - please? I haven't been able to find anything on the web.

I've attached a picture of the medallion (For Fuhrer & Fatherland - Volume 2, page 26 - LTC John R Angolia - please delete if I'm breaching copyright); I'm expecting to see the original tomorrow.

Toby, couple of times I saw these on Ebay, they went for about $100-120, I dont know if thats their real value though. Sorry I cant be of more help...
