    Gentlemen,

I'd like to get some opinions on this Gold Sports Badge. What do you think?

For me it looks it could be just gold-painted bronze one . Note very uniform finish especially on front side, and even over the damaged/cracked upper right swastika "elbow". The gold color seems too shiny and new to me, not deep "old gold" as it should be... And also - the "gold" finish is most worn NOT where it should be - on higher parts, but in the deepest parts of the badge - note letters on the backside. I would definitely stay away from this one.

But maybe I'm wrong? Please someone esle with more experience with this badge post something!

        Regards, Valter

I think the catch was repaired prior to repainting it Gold.

I did not even notice that at first. Your right, that is not the original catch.

Thank you all for your opinions I posted this guy in the Political section also and received the same response. Mainly about the finish.

Chris - don't worry about being truthful, that's why I posted it. That's what this Forum is all about.

                  Appreciate the help guys

                  Tony
