East campaing medal..it is a fake ??

Hi everyone !
Marked "18"...it is a fake.. ??..one person has offered it to me...wich would be a fair price ?
Also..anyone knows which maker is "18" ?...anyone has photos of another medal marked " 18" from the same maker ?

Regarding the medal, it seems to be OK. A fair price for this medal could be around 40 dollars, but wait till more expertise people tell you more about it

No worries, this is a good Eastern Front Medal. I don't have my makers list with me presently so I can't tell you who the maker is. When I get home from work I can get back to you with this information. Or perhaps, one of the other forum members can tell you before I get home.

If my (fading) memory serves me correctly an 18 is a Karl Wurster. Edited - correction 18 is Wursters reg. no., the LDO 18 is for B. H. Mayer.
