*HELP* SS Long Service awards - original or fake?

Hello Gentlemen,
I have an opportunity to buy two SS long service awards. I need to know if these are original or reproductions, and what their value might be.

the first one im not sure something about the wreath on the front i could be wrong the 2nd one looks ok

SS Long Service Medals

IMO both are fakes - nicely done - but fakes. Neither have the central ridge to the vertical ring and these two medals appear to have identical finishes. The 4 yr are usually blackened and the 8 yr have a beautiful chocolate color. The background texturing should be a bit more subtle too. Here's my cased 8yr for a bird's eye view.

Hello Guys,

This cased medal (actually had 2 of these medals in the case!) was handed to me by the man who brought it back from Europe along with a beautiful cased KVK1 w/o - as a GIFT because he new I was interested in this stuff. BOY WAS I INTERESTED! And grateful!
