    Opinion on BWB

Would like any opinions on this BWB. (other than I take lousy pictures!).

Details seem crisp in the wreath, almost all coloring front and back, Maker mark 88 on back.

It is magnetic, I thought it's probably a late war steel production that may not have been issued.

I'm suspicous of the pin closure, it matches a WW I BWB that I have.

    opinions?

            Norm,
Your badge looks good to me and this is one of the hinge setups that can be found on the 88 Werner Redo Black Wound Badge.

                Norm:

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing your badge.

Your badge looks good to me as well. My impression is that these are a bit tougher to come by than some of the other BWB makers.

Here is mine for comparison purposes.

I also have a black1939 wound badge, my only one that is also MM88. The set up on the back looks just like the one you have posted. Are these a hard maker mark to find?

I agree too, nice and typical constuction by this maker.

Werner Redo's WBs are not scarce but for sure as Dennis said you can't found them often.
