I can't believe that it even has bids on it. I guess somebody is buying the story.

Since I've got a "yes", my next question is do you believe his books to be authentic, meaning his advice on how to spot a fake is credible? I'm wondering because even in this website under "unofficial/prototype shields" it states " Little is known about this shield, as very few were awarded, but examples of pay books with entries referencing it do exist." Doesn't his mean that there is a possibility that these shields do exist?

Obviously Robin believes in this award and knows that it is a contentious piece. If he posted it here it would never get a clear thumbs up or thumbs down. You either believe or you don't. Nothing is stopping anyone here from bidding on it so if you believe (or have a high tolerance for questionable items) here is your chance. He has a 7 day money back return policy which is just like the estand. He has a good reputation and does know his stuff.
