    Alter Kämpfer badge

    Hi!

Heres another badge up for questioning; First off, who wore them? I guess people who had been with sinice early, so its a type of service medal?

Also: Is it original? The reason why I ask is because the patina on it looks pretty much exactly like the patina on the Ek2 spange I posted.

    Best regards: Lasse.

Hmmmmm.... I have doubts on this one-looks like a wound badge back (niot that that is bad) and thats' the arms of Danzig.
It's supposed to be the NSDAP Gau Danzig commemorative badge-but the back doesn't match the catch in Angolias' F+F pp. 211.

Humm ok, thanks. Could you maybe post the picture of the example you are talking about?

      Best regards:

See Angiloa's book: Fuhrer & Fatherland pp. 211.
The scan wouldn't do well here-size rerstrictions and dots are too large on the page.

            Gau Danzig Badge

Here's one I bought a couple of years ago. Note the safety catch and the makers mark "M.ST&S" and hallmark "925".

The original photos at the beginning of this thread don't seem to be working for me?
