What grade eastern people's medal is this?

    Hello,
Can someone tell me, what grade this medal is? Is it bronze, or gold?

    Thanks!

        Gold?

        Hello Frank,

I'm leaning more to Gold. Most of the gold's I have seen are a very bright,
        brilliant gold.

The finish on these medals are so fragile, nearly 90% I have observed, cannot be determined. Gold, Silver, Bronze. I once had someone tell me if the ring is gold than it was a gold award. However this truisms does not work. Since some bronze medals also had gold rings.

I have only found one maker to these metals "100" on the ring.

Any one have any other information?

        Cheers
        Howard

            Bronze Eastern people

Here's an example of a bronze with the bronze ring.

Silver Eastern People with silver ring

Eastern People in Silver. This example was found with still wrapped in the tissue paper. Even being protected the finish did not remain on the medal.

              Cheers,
              Howard

                Gold ring no finish

This example is a mystery to me. It appears to have had, for lack of better terminology. A primer applied to the medal first, then the metallic wash. Was it a Gold? Silver? Or Bronze? I can't say which?

                Opinions anyone?

                Thanks,
                Howard

                  Question?

Did the gold version have a primer first to help the metallic finish adhere?

With Franks award. It appears that there is the same underlying gray primer.

                  Questions, questions?
