    Ostvolker medal code

I know that majority of Ostvolker medals either are stamped 100 or come unmarked. I recently purchased two medals, both rings are stamped 15 (!). This LDO shows the maker as 15 Friedrich Orth - Wien.

Does anybody know if Friedrich Orth made Ostvolker medals? Is there any way to find out? Am just worrying that the medals might be put together.

Have you got pictures you'd like to share? If you want I can post them for you if you want. Just PM me.

Yes, usually 100 is the standard maker mark that you "usually" see for these. However, not long ago a member on the forum had one with a L/* stamped on the reverse. It was either a Silver or Gold 1st Class. I believe it was L/18?

I was the lucky buyer. Thank you for the chance to show it off.

Askold sent me these pictures to post on the forum. He has made some arrows and pointed to some concerns he has with these medals.

Personally, they look fine to me. As far as the maker mark .. it "appears" to be a "16" ?? Maybe others with better eyes have comments.

              Here are the pics:
