    Zoll Ribbon device foto

I just found this in my collection - once I took a closer look I noticed that he is wearing the actual Zoll device. So, what am I looking at it? Imperial long service, Social long service and Zoll long service?

    Interesting pic!

This guy served VERRRY long, even to get 3 different Long Service awards.

    Beste Grüße

Yup, and Imperial long service (IX, XII, or XV), then the Third Reich Loyal Service Cross bringing total service forward to 25 years, and then the Zoll long service.

      Actually, the Zollbeamten DOUBLE DIPPED--

they got the Treudienstkreuz introduced in 1938 the same as all other civil servants, but when their own award came out a year LATER, even though it was for far less time (4 or 8 years, depending on type of service), they were allowed to wear it IN ADDITION to the Treudienst-- which was for exactly the SAME service!!!!

I show the much rarer embroidered ribbon Zoll device in the Ribbon Bar Article on this website-- though I was unable to find ANY photo of either that or this metal type in wear for the illustrations gallery.

Hey Erich, if you can get this down to NORMAL size like your other photos, how about another one for the Article "In Wear" Galleries, please?
