Small three place ribbon bar

Here is an unusual small three place ribbon bar. The ribbons themselves are woven together. Rick and Daniel, this is the most ribbon I have ever seen woven together. (Man, we are certainly talking about minutia..Kleinigkeiten.)

Hi Erich,

for 2rd reich stuff You are right; I´ve also never seen more than 3 ribbons woven together. This small size was normally used for lapel pins.
In the old Imperial time it was possible to find combined ribbons with even 7 ribbons. (pic below)

Can You post a reverse scan?

Regulations quoted by Doehle in the last edition of his book (Jan 1945) limited Bandrollen (where the ribbon was rolled up and sewn onto a button for wear through the button hole) to three awards. Those I've seen all used multi-award ribbons, like the one in Erich's picture.
