Medal Bar Help!

I got these 2 medal bars today and I have a guide but it only has the basic ribbons on it. I don't get alot of ribbon bars so could you guys tell me what is on them and the value?

Hi Grenadier.

Your top ribbon bar has the following from left to right: WWI Iron Cross 2nd class, WWII War Merit Cross 2nd class with swords, WWI Frederick August War Service Cross (Oldenburg), 1914-1918 Cross of Honor with swords, armed forces long service, and the 1 Oct 38 medal.

Your bottom ribbon bar as a rather odd WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon, not certain about the center ribbon, and the 1914-18 Cross of Honor.

I can't help you with the values.

The long service on the top bar could be the 25 yr. Civil Service LS award. It looks like the device has been removed. I have a medal bar to match it except for the flower medal.

I think Chris is right-the state 25 year medal often sported a mini device that would have been denazified (or accidentally pulled off on the sharp corners). I doubt that anyone in WW1 long enough to receive two awards as an enlisted guy would only have had one Wehrmacht LS medal upon recall (although it is possible)given that WW1 service counted double time.

Well, I just got a postcard today from a Forum member that is very similar to bar #1.
Did you blacklight it at all?
