Hi Sal,
The Rachaus grouping was an LC grouping that Joerg purchased from the family a few years ago and ended up in Mike Heuer's collection. I purchased the group when Mike sold his collection.
It consists of a simple mint 5 place medal bar, excellent 835 Spanish Cross in Silver with Swords, mint Gold DRL Sports badge, ribbon bar, '57 wehrpass and photos of the medal bar in wear. Also in the group were 2 photo albums. The family also had the documents that went with the group but they were lost in the mail.
Rachaus joined the Army in '34, transferred to the Luftwaffe and then "resigned" to join the LC. He later rejoined the Luftwaffe, eventaully rising to the top NCO rank. He later rejoined the Bundeswehr and retired in '71. Interesting to see him progress thru the ranks in the photos.
