Hitler's Golden Party Badge. Help!

Forgive are not in a theme, but I search for any data!
In the book about political awards I for the first time have published photos of the return side of one of the Golden Party Badges taken from burnt bodies of Josef and Magda Goebbels.

On a badge of Josef number 22, on a badge of Magda number 29. The badge has presented for Magda at numerous witnesses Adolf Hitler. From here the first obvious conclusion - party number of Hitler 29.

It is very interesting to me, whether it is known from documentary sources (not from books of various authors without the indication of documents) what party number of Hitler and Goebbels?

KGB never named numbers of these badges. I do the following assumptions:

- It was not written initially down, from what body what badge was taken. Then, if badges are mixed, party number of Hitler 22 or 29.

- If from a documentary source it is known, that party number of Hitler NOT 22 or 29, destroying bodies SS-manns could change a badge, or the one who had access to bodies and has changed the badge with number 22 or 29 for a badge of Hitler from a body of Magda Goebbels! If it is known, who carried party number 22 or 29, that and has changed the badge for a badge of Hitler!

- The third assumption, that have changed a badge in archive of KGB. It is poorly probable, you see any party badge with such small number is very uneasy to find! Though if the person with such party number was in Soviet to a captivity, his badge could be in someone's hands.

For me it is one of the most intriguing riddles of death of Hitler! This riddle can be resolved if to find the document (not the assumption) about that who had party numbers 22 and 29!

I ask everyone who can have documentary confirmed data to help me to resolve one of riddles of the last war!

Hi Wlad, I may be way off here, but I thought Hitlers party number was 7?

Hitler was the 55th member of the German Workers' Party and number 7 in the parties executive committee. Does someone have a copy of the NSDAP Partei-Statistik 1935, Vol. 1 to clarify this?

Jamie Cross says Hitler was No1 but I think that is very wrong.
I am most familiar with him being No7.

Hitler was Member No.555 of the DAP, but actually he was member No 55 because they started counting at 500. When the NSDAP was founded they gave out new numbers.

Party number of Hitler in DAP - 555 and number of the party card in 1921 - 3680 (Werner Maser) is documentary confirmed. All other data are not confirmed with references to documents. While there is only a fact from archive former KGB - 2 Gold Party badges with numbers of 22 and 29 taken from burnt bodies of spouses Goebbels. One more Gold party badge was taken away by employees of SMERSH at one woman from Hitler's personnel. This badge she has removed from one of Hitler's suits as memory. 30 mm. badge of typical hollow performance in excellent condition without any number.

NUMBER 34 CONFIRMED

I had the Golden Party Badge numberd 34 that belonged to Josef Bauer and his 1st type Blood Order. Both came directly from Bauer's wife. My late friend Ben Swearingen purchased the items directly from Frau Sophie Bauer, sold them to another friend of mine Jim Osborne who in turn passed them to me.

When the former KGB opened the suitcase with the remains found in 1945.. a Golden Party Badge also emerged.

A few years ago, a friend of mine, Dr Bennecke, requested the consultation of the file, of the old Smersch, and then old KGB. All the archives, kept with a very high secret, until Stallin's death in 1953, were only for very few, high consultation members. The files, together with some elements that were preserved, are a series of reports in 4 folders, informing the events of the results of the bodies, where autopsies were performed.
