    Original PragerBurg Spange?

    Hello,
I bought this Pragerburg spange , that belongs to the 1938 medal.

It seems to me that these are easy to make as a replica.
    Does this one look original?
    Thanks!
    Frank

          Hi Frank,

Yes, it looks believable. Most of them have a L/12 mark on the reverse (either on one side or in the center)
          Cheers, Frank

            Hi Frank,
My comment is that the clasp you have appears to have an extraordinary amount of detail, not commonly observed in this striking. It is most noticable in the small windows of the main structure.

Hi Greg those were my thoughts too, there does seem to be far too much detail for my liking.

                Helo,
That's new for me . Too much detail for an original.....
Can you post one, with less detail?

Just let me know if you need more photo's

                I'm curious what others say.

                Greetings,
                Frank

Hi Frank, hope someone else can help you out with pics, but my scanner is out of action . There was a thread about these awhile back if you want to do a search. As for the detail not all fakes are poorly detailed, some fakes are determined by over detail (not saying yours is a fake, but concerned). Can you tell me if some of the blocks have three lines of windows?as it hard to tell with the light reflecting. Have you checked for mm. look at the the bushes with a scope?. All the best

                    Hello,
What would be the location for a mm? What could I see at the bushes, with a scope?

                    Greetings,
                    Frank

                            Frank,
Attached find some photos of what I consider to be original bars; I opine that other bars are suspect.
