    Ribbon Bar help, Please

    Hello Gentleman,

I have a wonderful ribbon bar that I would like help in identifying. I am stuck on a few of the designations as well as the order in which they are placed. I looked at Rick L. ribbon bar chart and the order in wich these are in concerns me. I would also like to know if anyone has any thoughts on price point.

    Thank you in advance,
    JD

    I don't know precedence or price but . . .

    1) 1914 EKII
    2) ???? Is the ribbon light blue or faded green?
    3) Hindenburg Cross
    4) Baltic Cross (Freikorps)
    5) October 01 1938 Commemorative Medal

    My two cents (pre tax)

          Confusing ???

The Baden Zahringen Lion is green with yellow-gold stripes, which fades a lot.

The blue with yellow-gold stripes could be a Saxon Military St Henry Order. . .

There are people on these forums with extensive knowledge of these matters. I am still in the Apprentice stage.

Personally the 10/01/38 Medal seems to me to be out of place. Maybe not ??

            Hi Joseph,

David is right. 2nd one looks like at Baden Zähringer Löwe. It is not a St.Henry.

            David,

the Annexion medal is on the right place.Maybe You are a bit confused about the Baltenkreuz. We discussed that a time ago here at the forum. Some people regarded the Baltenkreuz as WW1 award, so it would be in front of the Annexion medal, some other regarded it as "other German award" and it would be worn after the Annexon medals.

            Best regards

            Daniel

              Hello Guys,

Thank you for your help, some of these ribbon bars are really hard for me to decern especially the Imperial ones. This seems to be a very interesting piece. Again I appriciate the help.

              Best Regards,
              JD
