    Blood Order- thoughts

O.K. don't laugh..it is unlikely, but I'll post anyway. According to Bob Hritz, it is properly silver stamped 990 with a 186 above it. It is dirty and appears worn. Quite a heavy piece. I'll let photos speak now. Thanks for your patience.

Sorry thats no good. Detail is not good enough all over, you can see a kind of grainy texture also to the metal , numbers are wron type of font ,lots of bad things about this repro medal I'm afraid.

                    Blood Order

Ditto. Unfortunately not a good one. Among other things, the suspension ring is attached with a wide piece of metal instead of a very small ring. The rim should be like the rim on a finely struck coin, and not thick as here. These are very tough medals to sort out, given the quality of some of the copies.

These repros are widespread , look at the eagle it looks more like a malnourished turkey which is the immediate hands up.These pieces are
laughable when compared to an actual 1st pattern which oozes quality.

I don't know, but if that's a turkey, then he or she's awfully p-ssed off and I wouldn't tangle with him/her. Nasty beak on it!

                            Fake Blood Order

We used to call these the "Jester in the Center Fake", referring to the central figure in the memorial. Also, the loop at the top is a dead give-away.
