Very interesting medal

Hello,
I got this medal of a Kriegsmarine soldier.

- The ribbon above looks like a bulgarian medal that he got. (see photo)
Could he have gotten this medal by the bulgarians?

- I believe the ship is the Kreuzer Emden. He served on that ship.
What do you think? Or is it a Linienschiff?
- the medal is without doubt original.
- I don't believe he made it himself.

I'd like to hear your theory about this medal !

It is no official medal. Probably made by the sailers to remember a certain event.

I have some doubts about that. Perhaps could it have been for a special event.

It's metal on some sort of bakelite.
Not the materials I expect with a handmade piece.

I'm curious for other opinions.
