12 Year SS, Opinions please

Bob, if you look closely with a loupe, I think you will find that your
12 and 25 year SS medals have tiny stippling or pebbling in the background, and are not really smooth.

Les, I saw that same fake SS 12-year medal being sold as a reproduction
at the last SOS show.

I believe the stippling is less noticeable, (smaller and slightly different pattern styles). It really depends on how you are looking at it,
but it just looks different on the originals and they are not as course.
You really should examine it with a loupe.

Also, notice that the original wreath binders have 7 lines, and Les' medal has 6.
