    Another Rumanian Bar

    Hello:

Attached is another very nice German/ Rumanian (+ one bulgarian) ribbon bar. Is the swords and crown device for the third class of the Soldier's Cross of Bravery in War?

    Many thanks,

    Erich Craciun

Hmm, well the Rumanian "Manliness and Loyalty" Cross was for NCOs, so presumably the Bulgarian one was too...

can't think of anything that had a Crown AND Swords for an NCO, but no doubt this is an original and very nice bar. I especially like the 1919-21 Silesian Eagle ribbon in there for a middle aged WW2 guy who had been too young for WW1.

Crown and swords for an NCO? How about this, but as a combat award on the ribbon of the Military Order for Bravery:

That's not a correct Bulgarian crown and swords device, but a German replacement set, of course.

The Medal for Steadfastness and Loyalty (Medalia Barbatie si Credinta) was a medal, not a cross. Assuming those are proper gold swords (and not just more German leftovers like the crown and swords), that would be this one:
