    Interesting Ribbon Bar

Here's a neat one. Anyone see this bar before?

    Hi Rick!

That's really a beauty... I have never seen such miniature bars for the rumanian medal "crusade against the communism", but it looks like a typical one given to a German soldier fighting in Crimea with their allies. I guess that this was owned by an officer, because I don't think that soldier would have bothered to find such miniature bars to put on their "Feldschnalle".

    Ciao,

    Claudio

Yup, make sure this Teeny Little Beauty comes over to Ricky's house for Ribbon Bar Article scanning.

I don't think I've ever even seen a FULL size Rumanian campaign bar on a GERMAN group.

        Hello!

Nice ribbon bar. I like the Rumanian awards quite a lot. Here are two from my collection with campaign bars: Crimea and Mareaneagra(!). Now, let me try to attach the scan in the body of the text!

Wehrpass entry to Krim campaign bar

Here is the Wehrpass entry for the Rumanian Crusade again Communism medialle with the campaign bar “KRIM’. The Wehrpaßinhabe is Obgef. August Gawollek. He served with Army Coastal Artillery Abtl. 774. Later he served with the same unit on the ‘Invasionsfront’ and on 20.9.44 was wounded ‘on the bridge at Nymegen’ (An d. Brücke bei Nymegen…)

              Interesting….
